Download activities packs designed to make it easy for parents and teachers to do fun experiments at home or in the classroom. There are activities specifically tailored for three different stages: early years, primary, and secondary.

Be a citizen scientist and look for spider monkeys!
To help save endangered animals it’s necessary to monitor and understand ecosystems across large areas. You can take part in a valuable experiment from your home or school looking at drone footage taken by Liverpool John Moores University to classify and tag images of spider monkeys in Central America.

Take part in the poster competition
This year’s theme is “Our diverse planet” and is supported this year by Guinness World Records. Why not design a poster based on a world record that celebrates “Our diverse planet”? Entries close on April 3rd.

Attend an event
There are a number of family-friendly science themed events taking place across the region including Rochdale Science Extravaganza, British Science Week at Chester Zoo and Mad Science at Portland Basin.
