It’s time to sign up for kids’ clubs, classes & sports for the new term

Are you looking for ideas for a new children’s class, kids’ sport club or social group near you? We’ve got loads of suggestions and contact details for you.

For sport-mad kids, we’ve got lots of local teams to choose from. Browse our local listings for football, rugby, netball, basketball and volleyball, tennis, badminton or squash, or cricket, golf or hockey.  Would you like to get your child away from their screen and be more physically active? Look at our listings for children’s multi-sports, exercise, gymnastics and athletics. Or consider something different such as horse riding.

Does your child lack confidence? Martial arts, dance, drama and performing arts can really help develop self-esteem. Plus we have a page devoted to activities for children with additional needs.

To learn new social skills and maybe develop a interest for life, try one of the local cadets, scouts and guides organisations or learn a special interest such as cooking, art & crafts, wildlife or film-making.

If your child needs to develop academic skills, see our list of private tutors, modern languages for children and kids’ music lessons.

Think that your child may be too young to start classes? Some start at just a few months old – take look at the huge range of classes available for babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers. And you’re never too young or too old to learn that essential skill – swimming!

Here are some great suggestions for local clubs to get you started:
