Summer holiday clubs are a great way to use up a week doing something fun.
Kids summer holiday camps aren’t only for childcare, they give your child a chance to make new friends and try out new activities. Children can carry on with favourite hobbies or sports that might otherwise get dropped over the long holiday. Plus a children’s summer course is something they can look forward to and which adds structure to at least one week of the holidays. And from parent’s perspective, it provides a week when you don’t have to battle to get your child away from a screen!
Here are a few great suggestions:
BloomingArts for Children
Amazing after school classes, plus an affordable summer art camp, workshops and parties too.
Does your child love to create & often spend hours doodling or making? If the answer is yes? Then our wonderful creative art classes in our relaxed culture quarter studio in Warrington could be just what you are looking for.
Classes are suitable for ages 6.5 up to 16 years.
I have 20 years of experience in education, plus a teaching degree & all of our staff have an arts degree.
We love what we do, which shows in our 5* rating & reviews from our wonderful parents, carers, partnerships & of course the smiles on our children’s faces.
This year all of our children exhibited at Warrington Art Gallery & Museum, which they really enjoyed. There’s always something exciting happening at Bloomingart.
Art Jam Holiday Clubs
Chester and Frodsham
We have tons of fun and inspiring activities planned including sculpture, printing, water colour painting, pattern making, felting, sewing and weaving – to name just a few.
Art Jam holiday clubs run from 9am – 4pm for full-day sessions, and half-day sessions are either 9am – 12pm or 1pm – 4pm.
This summer we are holding workshops in Frodsham and Chester – see our website for venues and dates.
Children from ages 5 – 16 can attend as many whole or half-day sessions as they like, each day will be a different activity. Encouraging them to explore new techniques, develop their ideas and work together. The holiday clubs range from half-day sessions to three full day sessions, on which we can complete larger projects. Whatever length of time your child wishes to attend our holiday club, the focus will be on creating new and unique art for them to take home and show to all the family. We offer your child a creative space to explore their artistic abilities, encourage them to develop their visual observation and the confidence to express their ideas in lots of different ways. We have group activities in which every child plays a significant part as well as individual challenging projects.
Creative play, concentration, observation and translation skills, communication and problem solving are key factors to our art clubs. At Art Jam the children can be inspired, creative and messy too!
And the benefits to parents are there too – there is no clearing up paint spills in the kitchen, no organising activities, no need to purchase art materials as they are all provided within the cost of your half-day or full-day session, and Art Jam will free up your time during the holidays!
Develop new creative techniques.
Learn traditional skills.
Express your ideas.
Communicate your story.
Explore your thoughts.
Translate a feeling or a mood.
Experiment with different mediums.
All our staff have current enhanced DBS checks, child safeguarding certificates, and there will always be a qualified first aider on site.
