Celebrate Liverpool’s nautical heritage at the River Festival which has a weekend of family friendly fun on offer. The Amazed by Science festival is holding events all across Cheshire, including at the world-famous Jodrell Bank, perfect for budding scientists. Get your kids active outdoors with the Forest Holiday Playscheme in South Manchester. Take your little Knights and Princesses for medieval themed fun at Chirk Castle.  Or go even further back in time at Chester Racecourse’s Roman Day.
