Air Training Corps
Cadet membership is open to all young people, both male and female any nationality, background or ability from 12 to 17 years old. Activities include flying, sports, target shooting and adventure training. To find your nearest squadron use the interactive map on their site.
Army Cadet Force
The ACF helps 12-18 year olds to learn new skills and develop themselves in many different ways. Cadets take part in adventurous activities such as rock climbing, archery, mountain biking and abseiling.

The D.Of E offers a challenging programme of activities including sports, volunteering in community service, learning new skills and a demanding cross country hike.
Awards are gained at bronze, silver & gold levels. 14-25 years.

Girlguiding offers fun, rewarding and empowering activities for girls. As well as being enjoyable, guiding helps with social and personal development and positive values. Trained group leaders. Outward Bound is a charity which organises challenging outdoors adventure courses for young people from all backgrounds. uses outdoors experiences to encourage personal development and develop new skills.
We are a Brownies Pack in Sandycroft who have places, we have girls currently from Sandycroft, Mancot, Hawarden and Ewloe.

Badgers (6-10) learn skills through fun activities and outdoor pursuits in a safe but fun way.
Cadets (10-16) learn first aid skills and gain confidence by attending community events.
